Helios Towers, the independent telecoms tower infrastructure company, announces that, following the merger of the businesses of Airtel Ghana Limited (“Airtel”) and Millicom Ghana Company Limited (“Tigo”), it has been awarded a 15 year contract with Airtel-Tigo, Ghana’s second largest mobile network operator. This will replace Helios Towers’ current arrangements with Tigo and Airtel.

Under the agreement, Helios Towers will provide Airtel-Tigo with access to 718 of its towers in Ghana and commits to providing up to a further 100 new colocation tenancies.
