MULTILINKS TELKOM CO-LOCATES ON 400 HELIOS TOWERS’ SITES
The nation’s foremost infrastructure sharing and managed services provider, Helios Towers Nigeria and the pioneer CDMA operator have increased the tempo of co-location services in Nigeria with the attainment of 400 HTN co-location sites milestone by multi-links last week.
Multi-links Telkom has been at the forefront of telecoms revolution in Nigeria in the past few years being the first PTO licensed in 1996. The company had at the end of May, 2009 activated 400 towers sites on Helios Towers Network, they have consistently believed in infrastructure sharing as the best option for speedy network roll-out, speed to market, reduced opex and Zero Capex. It has remained one of the most stable telecom operators in Nigeria with aggressive roll-out plan.
Helios Towers Currently has over 1000 four-operator sites across Nigeria’s 6 geo-political zones with a strong presence in key markets including Abuja, Lagos, Port Harcourt, Warri, Kaduna, Onitsha and Ibadan .
