This group of talented individuals possesses over a century of experience in wireless data and telecoms.

Femi TejuosoInder Bajaj
Chief Excecutive Officer

Inder Bajaj has over 25-year professional experience with leading corporate in the telecom services and office automation sector. He has performed a wide range of roles with line jobs including leading strategic business units, setting up start-up business in B2C/ B2B space, sales / business operations with direct / indirect channel. He has also done many staff roles in functional areas of corporate strategy planning, product management, total quality management and sales training. Prior to his current responsibilities, he worked with Reliance Communications Limited (RCOM) where he was President of Reliance Infratel Ltd, a telecom infrastructure company which he built to be a global leader in telecommunication infrastructure sharing . He led a team of 150 people in functional areas of Technical service project/operations, Finance/Commercial, Business Development, Product Management, Customer care and rolled out over 34,000 new towers, in 2 years post formation of the company and today the company has the highest tenancy per tower in the Industry in India.  He was at one time,Reliance Communications Limited (RCOM ) Head of  Corporate Planning for the Telecom business where he managed evaluations of Long Term Technology path options, market assessment for inorganic options and leading an acquisition transaction initiative. He was also responsible for the team that secured licence for RCOM’s entry into the Mobile GSM market as well as development of new business strategy and operationalizing of RCOM’s GSM foray, High Speed Data Business and Passive Infrastructure. He was also responsible for developing strategic transformation programs and managing the review process across network, organization, and sales & distribution, customer acquisition / retention. From 1998 to 2003, he was with Bharti Tele Ventures as Chief Operating Officer of Maharashtra Circle, where he led the project team that won the license as4th operator to set up the company from scratch and launched operations. He also had brief stints at Modi Xerox India as General Manager and Ballarpur Industries as Personnel Executive. Mr.Bajaj brings the experience, expertise, and leadership abilities to position Helios Towers for success in the future and deliver the value expected by its numerous clients and broader constituent communities.


 

LanreTHOMAS SULE
Chief Operating Officer
Thomas assumed the role of Chief Strategy Officer at HTN in November, 2008. He will be focusing on strengthening HTN's position as a leader in the industry and providing direction and leadership toward the achievement of the organizations, mission, strategy, and its annual goals and objectives. Thomas joins HTN from BP Energy Canada where he served in various leadership roles, formulating strategies and governance of business unit service delivery. Prior to BP Energy, Thomas was Manager, Technical Services at Activplant Corporation, Canada where he served as a member of the senior leadership team implementing go to market strategies and developing professional services operations. Thomas has worked with many large technology organizations on co-development and consulting engagements and brings a background of business process, best practices and systems re-engineering initiatives to HTN. Mr. Sule is a graduate of University of Waterloo with a Masters degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with a Professional Engineer designation (P.Eng) in Canada.
LANRE TUNJI-SANUSI 
Chief Financial Officer
Lanre Tunji-Sanusi has over sixteen years’ experience in management consulting, corporate finance, investment banking and financial control. While at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), she was involved in predominantly business process re-engineering projects and also handled private equity financing, capital market transactions, mergers & acquisitions and fund management at Denham Management Limited. She was the team lead on the restructuring and merger of two conglomerates on the Nigeria Stock Exchange and the establishment of a billion Naira Global Investment Fund. In recent years, she focused on financial control and strategy and been closely involved in the development and execution of business strategy in multi-billion Naira corporations. Key responsibilities include (i) setting up of accounting systems, policies and structures (ii) financial analysis and reporting, (iii) equity and debt financing (iv) negotiating with financial institutions (v) fiscal & tax management (vi) treasury management and (vii) planning, budgeting and forecasting. She has held senior finance positions as Senior Vice President Transnational Corporation, Finance Director Food Concepts & Entertainment Limited and immediately prior to joining Helios Towers Nigeria, she was the Finance Director of Pfizer Global Pharmaceuticals (Nigeria & East Africa Region), During her tenure at Pfizer, she also acted as Managing Director and Human Resources Director. She graduated with a 2.1 in BSc Accounting from University of Lagos, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, a 1st prize winner (of all stages) of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers and holds an MBA from Imperial College, University of London (specializing in new ventures).
 
Collins OnumajuruCOLLINS ONUMAJURU
Chief Legal Officer
As head of the Legal Department, Mr. Onumajuru is responsible for site acquisition, permits and approvals, community relations, company security and all forms of legal compliance. Before joining Helios Towers Nigeria (HTN) in January 2006, he had previously been Company Secretary in several blue chip companies, Principal Partner in Collins Onumajuru & Co. (Legal Practitioners) and Managing Director of Pacol Properties Ltd. (Real Estate Firm). Mr. Onumajuru holds Bachelors' and Masters' Degrees in Law from the University of Lagos, majoring in Conveyance and Secured Credit Transactions. He is a member of Nigeria and International Bar Associations. He has written many pages in Nigeria Property Law.
 

Azuka NduleweAZUKA NDULEWE
Chief Marketing Officer

Azuka Ndulewe is responsible for all Sales and Marketing activities, including product development and brand management. He has over 18 years experience holding key operational roles in well known companies. He held the position of Head, Product Marketing and later Ag Chief Marketing Officer at MTS First Wireless; the pioneer private wireless telecommunication operator in Nigeria. While at MTS he played pivotal roles in the network/technology change from Etacs to CDMA 2001x platform, as key member of the launch team leading the product development group. He was also responsible for driving the infrastructure sharing initiative amongst telecom operators from MTS end. After his exit from MTS, he took up a consultancy role at Ghana telecom as Product Management Consultant while the operator was under the management of TMP. He later joined Madonna Chambers, a firm of Capital Market and Real Estate Solicitors as Partner. He joined Helios Towers in 2006 where he has operated in various roles and is now the Chief Marketing Officer. He holds Degrees in Information Science from Imo State University and Law from University of Lagos and he has attended various management courses and workshops, including the Informa Telecom (UK) mini MBA. Ndulewe is a fellow of Institute of Sales and Marketing Management (UK) and holds membership of Nigeria Bar Association, National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (Chartered) and Nigeria Institute of Management (Chartered). He has participated and presented papers in several International and Local seminars and conferences covering divers areas of telecom business.
  

 
CHANDRAKANT MODI
Chief Technical Officer
Chanrakant has over 29 years multi-faceted experience of leading projects and operations for Telecom Equipment, infrastructure and Networks of large dimensions and multi locations. Core competence in Telecom infrastructure Engineering and Project management Network integration and operations. Prior to his current role he has worked with Reliance Communication Limited Mumbai, where he worked as the Head Program Management for passive infra sharing and sites delivery to tenant operators. While at reliance he managed tenancy for 16000 BTS units of 8 operators in less than 16 months period enabling revenue of Rs 50+Cr per month, also he successfully led expansion of OFC Transport Network by 60,000kms and 7,700nodes in 18months involving total budget of over Rs 2500Cr. Mr Modi also worked at Ericsson Communications with achievements such as; successful implementation of IN (Pre-paid) system for 3 GSM Circles for 1 million subscribers in 3 months, achieved the Roll-out of green field GSM Network in Gujarat for 130 BTS and 3 MSC in 11months at the cost of Rs 300Cr. He has a B.E in (Electronics & Instrumentation), from Gujarat University and a P.G Diploma in Business Management and Sales Management from AIIMS, Chennnai India. He is a member of the PMI (Project Management Institute – India.
